Must be able to commit 7-10 hours each day. We are looking for a hard worker who is dependable, honest, and has an eye for detail. Managerial qualities are a plus, as we are looking for somebody who can manage the customer base when needed. Must have at least one years experience working in or around swimming pools to be considered. We will supply vehicle and equipment. Job Description Maintains and operates residential pools according to company standards and in compliance with Florida State Codes and related duties. Responsibilities Includes the following, and other duties may be assigned. Test and balance pool chemicals. Test water and add chemicals as needed. Clean and vacuum pool. Clean skimmer baskets. Clean pool filters. Skim pool with skimmer as needed. Brush down walls/steps/tile, etc. Leaves work area in clean, neat safe condition. Is vigilant, able to diagnose and report problems with pool equipment pads, leaks, etc…
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Clean driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in cleaning and maintaining pools/spas
- CPO certified a plus
- Able to lift/carry supplies or equipment of 50 lbs or more
- Frequent reaching, stooping, bending and kneeling. Extensive walking and standing
- Must be able to endure seasonal temperatures as working conditions requires constant outdoor work
- Excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to demonstrate good judgment when dealing with customers and staff members
- This position requires working 7:00am-until route is complete (usually around 2-5pm), depending on said route assigned
