Maintenance Technician 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 1745 State Road 16, Saint Augustine, FL 32084 First Coast Professionals currently has a full-time Maintenance Technician position available in Saint Augustine, Florida.
Hours :
Monday
- Friday 7:30am
- 4:00pm Occasionally on-call on the weekends for emergencies
Rate of Pay :
$17 an hour
Responsibilities :
- Perform general maintenance duties, including but not limited to;
- Basic drywall patching
- Painting
- Changing door locks
- Repairs of doors, windows, and screens
- Repair minor plumbing issues
- Small or minor appliance repair
- Perform maintenance and monthly inspections on company vehicles
- Maintains vehicle log and ensures monthly maintenance in completed
- Clean and maintain residential pools weekly
- Ensure all air filters and smoke detectors are clean and operational.
- Ensure that all smoke detectors are in sync and test logs are completed timely
- Assist with consumer or office moves as directed by administration
- Turns in completed Maintenance Request forms daily to the Supervisor
- Carries on-call after-hours phone every other week and responds as directed by Director of Operations
- Any other duties as needed Job Qualifications /
Requirements:
- 2+ years in the maintenance field
- Experience in vehicle maintenance
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Strong analytical skills, interpersonal, time management, written, and verbal communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times when interacting with consumers, employees, vendors, and visitors
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and set priorities
- Must be able to understand and meet deadlines
- Must be detailed oriented and have strong follow through skills
