Job Description

Hotel Maintenace Hilton Garden Inn 8540 Commerce Centre Drive, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34986 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hotel Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance, with the ability to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel. This role is essential for maintaining the comfort and safety of our guests, requiring a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to excellent customer service. This person reports directly to the Chief Engineer, and other executive department managers as needed. This role includes weekends and some weekday shifts. Responsibilities Be aware of hotel facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards by reporting or fixing as needed. Perform electrical repairs and installations, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Utilize tools for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Repairs as necessary to maintain operational efficiency throughout the entire hotel and guest rooms. Manage maintenance requests through property systems application. Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns, providing exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed using property systems application. Collaborate with your supervisor and other departments to ensure timely completion of maintenance projects. Address issues promptly to avoid further damage. Requirements Experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong electrical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English. Spanish is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various environments. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards maintaining hotel facilities and enhancing guest experiences.
