The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role involves ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained in optimal condition, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and leading small teams when necessary. Duties Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs. Perform repairs and maintenance tasks including welding, fabricating parts, and working with schematics. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance schedules. Lead and supervise maintenance projects, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff and management. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting operations. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities performed. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various types of equipment. and fabrication techniques is a plus. Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to supervise small teams effectively.
