Maintenance Technician – Ft. Pierce 3.4 3.4 out of 5 stars 9501 Range Line Road, Port Saint Lucie, FL 34987 We are currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team! Your responsibilities will include conducting routine and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment at an engineering plant at the direction of the Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair plant mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, piping systems, generators, air compressors, water heaters, and other industrial equipment. Conduct daily, weekly and monthly performance maintenance along with daily work orders generated for corrective maintenance Pipe fitting for PVC, CPVC, Steel, and FRP pipe systems Assist in root cause failure analysis of equipment Maintain material and supply inventory Oversee and assist work performed by outside contractors as necessary
Qualifications:
Three years mechanical experience in an industrial setting High school diploma or equivalent required Must have personal set of tools appropriate for the position (wrenches, socket sets, hammer, pry bar, screwdrivers, vice grips, and channel locks) Responds to after hour calls Must know how to operate a forklift, frontend loader or man lift Ability to handle physical workload Deadline and detail-oriented
