We are an infrastructure maintenance company with an emphasis on vegetation management. We perform a variety of services for our customers including tractor mowing, boom mowing, herbicide applications, litter removal, and other Right-of-Way maintenance activities. All work is performed outdoors and mainly along the roadside. Individual must be personable and self-motivated, someone who can problem solve in a fast-paced environment. Technicians operate independently, must strive to be effective with integrative vegetation management while servicing our city, county, state, and private customers. We are currently looking for herbicide technician to join our team, this does require a considerable amount of travel as projects are located in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, and sometimes other neighboring states. We perform 2-4 visits to the projects each year to apply weed control, inspect the property, document with pictures, and sometimes light landscape labor is required. Typically, you will be on the road for several weeks while performing the maintenance route depending on where you live. This can be discussed further with the hiring manager. Our main office is in Cartersville, GA, however you only go there to pick up products and turn in paperwork. You can live more central to the towers in North Florida or South Georgia.

• Duties & Responsibilities:

• Complete daily reports
• Select the most appropriate product or treatment to be utilized for each problem
• Operate a company truck and spray system to apply herbicides.
• Keep truck and equipment in neat order and complete all safety records.

• Workday & Schedule:

• Workdays & hours may vary depending on weather related conditions
• Schedule will be a 5-day work week, mostly 10-hour days.
• This position is full time – permanent opportunities.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds & to work outdoors in various temperatures throughout the day

• Experience Requirements:

• MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE

• 1 year experience operating spray and application equipment ideal
• Experience with pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers
