Maintenance Technician 3.9 3.9 out of 5 stars Macon, GA 31216 Maintenance Technician Maintenance Technician (NIGHT SHIFT) – Near the Warner Robins, GA area Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems. Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes. Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective solutions promptly. Conduct inspections and tests to ensure proper functioning of machinery and equipment. Document maintenance activities and procedures for compliance and quality assurance. Qualifications Hourly Rate depending on experience ($30/hr-$35/hr) High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics preferred. Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or similar role in a manufacturing setting. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance best practices. Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
