Building Maintenance Technician

Statesboro, GA 30458 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Building Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring the functionality, safety, and aesthetic appeal of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in industrial maintenance and have experience with various maintenance tasks, including HVAC systems, welding, and hydraulics. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs and installations. Conduct repairs using stick welding techniques as needed. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues effectively. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally. Manage maintenance tasks using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory. Collaborate with other maintenance staff to complete larger projects efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial maintenance or a related field. Proficiency in stick welding and familiarity with various welding techniques. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, hydraulics, and electrical components. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Experience using voltmeters and other precision measuring instruments. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
