We manage dozens of properties in Savannah, GA, and pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service to both homeowners and guests. Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is critical in maintaining the quality and functionality of our managed properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for problem-solving. Key Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, and general property upkeep. Conduct quarterly property inspections, checking linens, kitchen essentials, appliances (e.g., stoves, refrigerators, AC units), and water systems. Respond promptly to urgent maintenance requests during business hours and coordinate with the after-hours team for overnight emergencies. Assist with property upgrades and renovations as needed. Collaborate with the Market Operations Manager and cleaning contractors to ensure properties are guest-ready. Maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections using our property management tools (e.g., Streamline PMS/Work Order System). Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies. Qualifications Proven experience in maintenance, property management, or a related field (prior property management experience is a plus). Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Certified Plumber or HVAC specialist is bonus. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Comfortable using technology for task tracking and reporting. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Preferred Skills Experience with vacation rental properties is a plus. Pool maintenance experience and certification are highly valued. Work Environment The role involves both indoor and outdoor work, with occasional lifting of heavy items. Travel between properties in Savannah, GA, is required.
