The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in facilities maintenance and demonstrate proficiency in various technical skills. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained, safe, and operational. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing repairs, conducting routine maintenance, and supervising other maintenance staff as needed. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and maintenance on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal functionality. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC units. Utilize tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting. Fabricate and weld components as necessary to maintain equipment integrity. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Lead and supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support during projects. Execute residential painting tasks to enhance the appearance of facilities. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all tasks. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques is preferred. Experience with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities is a plus. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Prior experience in residential painting is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
