Ball Ground Highway, Ball Ground, GA 30107 Responsibilities Perform and oversee maintenance tasks, including oil changes, greasing/lubricating, equipment adjustments, preventative maintenance, and rebuilding machinery. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in manufacturing equipment, vehicles, and machines. Ensure safe operation and repair of machinery, adhering to proper safety protocols. Use tools such as calipers, tape measures, drills, saws, hammers, and electrical testing equipment effectively. Collaborate with the team, learn new processes, and implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime. Qualifications Proven experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance, with strong expertise in repairing and maintaining manufacturing machines. Proficiency with basic tools (e.g., calipers, tape measures, drills, saws, hammers) and electrical diagnostic equipment. Ability to problem-solve, retain technical information, and adapt to evolving maintenance needs. Commitment to working up to 50+ hours per week, including occasional Saturdays. Strong understanding of workplace safety practices related to machinery repair and maintenance. Coachable attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the department. Preferred that Manager resides within 20 miles of the shop in case of emergency.

$75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
