Job Description The Maintenance Technician will work independently and with other plant personnel to perform preventative, predictive and routine maintenance tasks. They will troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment, and ensure maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. All tasks will be performed while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED (with further technical coursework preferred); at least five years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and basic electrical repair; good written/verbal communication and math skills; and the physical ability to perform the requirements of the job. Strong computer skills a plus. Responsibilities Perform both advance electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production equipment from basic hydraulic equipment to complex CNC machinery Perform Preventive and Predictive maintenance on production equipment Effectively troubleshoot failures and work in team environment to determine root cause of failure Participate in plant shift meeting and continuous improvement activities Utilize CMMS system, preferably SAP, to manage work orders and review work history Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities Develop, prepare, and present recommendations and reports as requested May be required to drive a vehicle for company errands Other duties and special projects as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary education and/or a technical trade certificate a plus At least five years of experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and basic electrical repair Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings Ability to write detailed repair reports Expertise and proficiency with basic office computer software and the ability to learn how to effectively use maintenance software to input data and research parts highly preferred Working knowledge of SAP (procedures and work instructions) preferred Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written High motivated, disciplined problem-solver/troubleshooter Strong ethics and ability to work in team environment PLC and CNC test equipment experience including troubleshooting, repairs, PMs, and other world-class maintenance measures Experienced, preferably by formal training, in principles and standards for advance mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment operations Must have good mathematical skills to include basic algebra for calculation of electrical/electronic equations as applicable Simple fabrication & welding skills Ability to use precision measurement tools Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s) Benefits 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with Company Match Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Time Life Insurance Disability Insurance Prescription Insurance Flexible Spending Accounts Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Various Voluntary Policies Available Safety Training Continuous Learning Environment
