We are looking for a skilled and experienced General Maintenance Technician Level II to join our team in the restaurant industry. The ideal candidate will have expertise in light electrical work, light plumbing, general building repair, general building maintenance, as well as experience in performing preventative maintenance on cold and hot equipment. As a General Maintenance Technician Level II , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant facilities.

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As an integral member of the Facilities Team, this position is responsible for:

• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing plumbing leaks, and fixing minor electrical issues.
• Perform general building repairs, including drywall repair, painting, and carpentry work.
• Implement preventative maintenance schedules for cold equipment (e.g., refrigerators, freezers) and hot equipment (e.g., ovens, grills).
• Inspect and maintain HVAC systems, including filters and ductwork.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with other team members to address maintenance needs and ensure a safe working environment.

HERE’S WHAT

Education & Experience

YOU WILL NEED

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance work, with a focus on cold and hot equipment maintenance in the restaurant industry.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and building repair techniques.
• Experience in implementing preventative maintenance programs.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
