Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to, carpentry, painting, plumbing, and electrical trades work. Operates a variety of maintenance and cleaning tools and equipment; and performs related work as required. Duties and responsibilities
General Building Repairs/Maintenance:
Lighting, painting, pressure washing, etc.
Floor repairs:
Warehouse and Processing room (coordinate epoxy repairs)
Locksmith:
Coordinate locksmith service calls
HVAC :
Basic troubleshooting, Schedule/Coordinate service, Change air filters
Fire Sprinklers:
Coordinate Annual Inspection and service calls
Dock Doors/Levelers:
Basic troubleshooting, PM and Service (Arbon)
Fire Alarm Monitoring:
Service (12 & Associates @ 3675, Crown Security @ 3600)
Forklifts/Pallet Jacks/Batteries:
PM and Service batteries, PM and Service forklifts (Raymond)
Plumbing:
Employee restrooms / Hand washing sinks, Processing room drains, PVC water lines Landscaping Security gates: Basic troubleshooting, Service (ITR)
Trash Compactors:
Basic Troubleshooting, PM and Service Pallet Racking:
Inspect pallet racking and coordinate repairs
Generator:
Coordinate scheduled service Cardboard balers: Perform PM’s and schedule service as needed Oversees two buildings Other duties as assigned by management Qualifications A high school diploma or GED is preferred; but not required Must be able to work flexible hours 3-7 years of working experience in facilities maintenance Strong understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods Ability to work with minimal supervision Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented Must be organized, detail oriented, self-motivated, and able to multi-task Working conditions Able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments with moderate to loud noise levels. May work in controlled temperature conditions, cold and hot temperatures, or inclement weather conditions Physical requirements The Associate is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. The Associate frequently is required to climb or balance. Ability to regularly lift and/or move more than 50 pounds Bending at waist, sitting, kneeling, climbing, walking, crouching as job may require Working around lubricants, solvents, batteries, cleaning fluids, paints
