DESCRIPTION
The maintenance technician position is responsible for performinghighly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair andmaintain production and facility equipment according to safety,predictive and productive maintenance process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintainproduction machines and the plant facility’s equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipmentduring production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs ofproduction equipment during machine service. Read and interpret mechanical and electrical schematics. Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulicduties. Troubleshoot faulty machinery and make necessary repairs toproduction machines. Troubleshoot PLC and identify inputs and outputs in LadderLogic. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices inoperation; listening for problems; using precision measuring andtesting instruments. Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation andequipment. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting andcommunicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying withprocedures, rules, and regulations. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results asneeded. Document Maintenance and Repairs in GURU. Ability to read and utilize technical manuals and drawings.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Associate degree (A.S) Industrial Maintenance with 2 years’experience Or Certificate in Industrial Maintenance with 5 years’experience Currently licensed electrician. Strong electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrialskills with PLC experience and
HVAC. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability andstatistical inference, fundamentals of plane, solid geometry, andtrigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios,and proportions to practical situations. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific andtechnical journals. Able to respond to common inquiries by members of management, andeffectively present information. Must have above average skills in the use and application of wordprocessing and spreadsheet software.
