Job Title:

Maintenance Engineer Job Description As a Maintenance Engineer, you will start each morning with a shift meeting to discuss the day’s plans. You will receive a list of preventive maintenance tasks to complete and will be responsible for quickly responding to calls from the production team. You will complete 3-4 preventive maintenance tasks daily and be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing production machinery such as ovens, conveyors, pumps, and fillers. Responsibilities Attend shift meetings each morning to discuss the day’s plans. Complete 3-4 preventive maintenance tasks daily. Respond promptly to calls from the production team. Troubleshoot and repair production machinery including ovens, conveyors, pumps, and fillers. Essential Skills Experience with conveyor maintenance. Strong mechanical skills and basic understanding of electrical systems. Proficiency in using a multimeter and wiring a 480v motor. Knowledge of PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives). Ability to troubleshoot pneumatics, hydraulics, and perform welding tasks. Familiarity with food and beverage industry standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). Additional Skills & Qualifications 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Work Environment The work environment is industrial and ambient climate-controlled. Steel toe boots are required. There are openings on the first shift (6am-2pm) and second shift (2pm-10pm), with no current openings on the third shift (10pm-6am). The shift will rotate, with one weekend off every six weeks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 – $36.00/hr.
