Operations Manager Job Summary:

Southern Construction Fence, a leader in chain-link fencing solutions, is looking for a dependable and motivated Fence Installer to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of chain-link fences for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and has a strong work ethic with a willingness to learn on the job.

Key Responsibilities:

Install chain-link fencing according to job specifications and safety standards Measure and mark fence layout using blueprints or customer instructions Dig post holes using manual tools or powered augers Set and align fence posts in concrete and assemble chain-link fabric and framework Stretch and secure chain-link fabric to posts, rails, and tension wires Install gates, tension bands, top rails, and other accessories Perform site cleanup and ensure proper disposal of debris Conduct routine inspections and repairs of installed fences Operate company vehicles, power tools, and machinery safely Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure job efficiency and quality

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous experience in chain-link fence installation or general construction is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions Physically capable of lifting 50lbs. +, standing, digging, and bending for extended periods Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures Punctual, dependable, and team-oriented Willingness to travel to local and regional job sites Ability to drive a truck and trailer
