Atlanta, GA 30338 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for stripping/waxing and buffing floors in a school settings. This role requires a strong understanding of floor care techniques, including buffing, and custodial services. The Floor Technician will play a vital role in ensuring that the facilities are safe, clean, and welcoming for all occupants. Duties Execute specialized procedures for different flooring types such as tiles, VCT, laminate, etc. Operate floor care equipment such as buffers, extractors, and scrubbers to achieve optimal results. Conduct regular inspections of floors to identify areas requiring retouches. Ensure compliance with environmental services standards by using appropriate cleaning agents and methods. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; report any shortages or maintenance needs promptly. Collaborate with custodial staff to ensure comprehensive coverage throughout the facility. Experience Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and carpet cleaning is a plus. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
