Job Summary :
The Maintenance Tech 2 is a highly skilled position in the Maintenance Dept. Primarily troubleshoots, repairs and performs preventative maintenance on various industrial equipment. Equipment such as conveyors, compressors, shuttle lines, hydraulic lifts, and MHE equipment. The Maintenance Tech 2 will execute work orders, complete projects, and communicate effectively with primary and support teams.
Duties/Responsibilities :
- Inspect building hardware, equipment, and systems on the routine AM schedule
- 2+ years of building maintenance experience
- 2+ years of mechanical equipment experience. (Compressors, MHEs, shrink-wrap machines, and lift tables are preferred.)
- Able to identify a wide variety of mechanical and IT problems and perform repairs
- Backup to the lead in case of absence or PTO
- Identify and facilitate equipment improvements to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Supports Building maintenance repairs as needed
- Assist the maintenance team in the training and team development.

- Must be reliable in attendance and punctuality, including breaks and lunch periods
- Support, follow, and monitor all safety requirements / expectations
- Maintain adherence to company policies.
- Inspect buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues
- Read instruction manuals, blueprints, schematics, etc
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines/ decision making, scheduling and follow through.
Physical Requirements :
- Must be able to work in tight spaces.
- Must be able to work in high places of the building.
- Must be able to be on feet 10+ hrs a day
