Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing general and preventive maintenance, repairs, and upkeep on physical structures, facility equipment, and grounds, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, industry standards, and company policies. Duties include troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, along with performing touch-up painting, carpentry, and other structural repairs.
Responsibilities:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations, operations manuals, and industry best practices to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Assist inspectors and contractors with the testing, inspection, and repair of building structures, mechanical systems, and equipment to maintain compliance with safety regulations. Complete work orders and special projects efficiently within specified time frames, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and operational needs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the maintenance shop and storage areas, following best practices for tool care, inventory management, and workspace cleanliness. Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring proper functionality and updating maintenance records to track condition and service history. Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues, providing quick resolutions to minimize disruption and ensure facility safety. Uphold hospitality and service standards, ensuring positive interactions and support for residents, staff, and guests. Remain composed under pressure, effectively managing multiple tasks and responding to emergencies with professionalism and urgency.
Education and experience required:
High school diploma or GED required. Completion of an accredited technical school program or two-year college preferred. Valid driver’s license or state-issued ID required. Basic electrical knowledge is essential. 2+ years of hands-on maintenance in a professional setting. Experience in hotel, apartment, or high-rise building maintenance
Schedule:
Any 3 weekdays 9AM-5:30PM and Saturday & Sunday 9AM-5:30
PM Pay:
$22-$24 an hour
