Job Description

We are seeking two experienced Maintenance Technicians — one for the day shift and one for the second shift — to support our production team. A strong focus on hydraulics, pneumatics, and valve troubleshooting is essential.

Shift Schedules:
Day Shift:

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-5:00

PM Second Shift:

Monday-Thursday, 5:00 PM-3:00

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain, service, troubleshoot, and repair manufacturing equipment and site property safely and efficiently. Adjust, replace, or rebuild valves and related components, particularly within die-cast production equipment. Perform mechanical and electrical repairs as needed across various systems. Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to company safety policies and procedures.

Technical Skills Required:
Level I Responsibilities:
Pneumatics:

Apply principles of compressed air systems during maintenance.

Hydraulics:

Identify basic hydraulic components and apply fundamental hydraulic principles.

Plumbing:

Understand pipe schedules and fittings; accurately complete orders.

Electrical:

Install 120V and 480V circuits; work with AC/DC systems.

Level II Responsibilities:

(Includes all Level I duties)

Pneumatics:

Troubleshoot air logic systems using schematics.

Hydraulics:

Explain and troubleshoot hydraulic transmission systems.

Plumbing:

Install various types of plumbing systems, interpret isometric drawings, size pumps appropriately, and apply plumbing codes.

Electrical:

Wire step-down transformers, read/write schematics, troubleshoot PLCs using computers, install and troubleshoot motors and AC/DC drives.

Welding:

Perform arc welding, MIG welding, plasma cutting, and oxy-fuel cutting.

Level III Responsibilities:

(Includes all Level I & II duties)

Pneumatics:

Install air logic control systems from schematics.

Hydraulics:

Troubleshoot complex hydraulic circuits and components (valves, accumulators, cylinders, pumps, etc.).

Fabrication:

Operate all fabrication equipment to complete maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:
Level I:

High School Diploma or GED; 1-2 years of related experience or equivalent.

Level II:

High School Diploma or GED; 2-4 years of related experience or equivalent.

Level III:

Technical certificate or Associate Degree; 6-8 years of experience or equivalent. Ability to read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals. Basic math skills and the ability to analyze problems and collect relevant data.

Physical Requirements:

Regular use of hands, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Exposure to loud environments, extreme heat, elevated work areas, outdoor weather, fumes, chemicals, electrical risks, and vibration.

Work Environment:
