Botanical Design is looking for a skilled and passionate horticulturist to join our Interior Maintenance team. If you have a green thumb and a love for all things flora, we want to hear from you! We are looking for a full-time technician to maintain interior plants on client premises. The routes are different each day – some routes consist of fifteen smaller accounts and other routes could be one building/campus. A love of plants, excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and good time management are a must. Associates degree or working knowledge and experience in Horticulture preferred. The position offers a flexible schedule and relies on your ability to work independently. You get to meet a lot of people, visit interesting places, and enjoy the rewards of nurturing living things. To successfully perform the essential functions of this job: The employee is regularly required to talk and/or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time. Occasionally required to work on ledges with exposure to heights. Must be able to hand-carry buckets of water weighing 20-25 pounds frequently on a daily basis. The employee is frequently required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Varied field environment performing outdoor work with moderate to occasional loud noise. Must have clean driving record and ability to use personal vehicle to navigate stops on route (mileage is reimbursed).
