The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for theday-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenanceon. Acts as a material handling technician on all equipment that isinstalled at the Fairburn, GA. The Work Schedule is Monday throughWednesday 6 am to 6 pm, and Thursday, 6 am to 11 am. Weekend andOvertime as the need arises.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role Repair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment ( MHE ),including belt tracking, component a djustment/replacement,component lubrication, etc. Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, andprocedures. Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electricalcircuitry. Build and close work orders into the asset management systemwith appropriate data to include labor hours, equipmentmaintenance, and parts used. Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand resourcesneeded to resolve them. Locate and track spare parts from inventory. Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensurethey meet specifications. Respond to service calls and rectify equipment failures andfaults. Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps tosolve them. Develop and maintain positive working relationships across alllevels of the organization . What We Are Looking For High School diploma or equivalent experience required.

Typically, an associate’s degree or vocational technical trainingis preferred. Specialized skill training/certificationpreferred. 2-3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipmentpreferred. Proven experience in area of responsibility and successfuldemonstration of position and key responsibilities as presentedabove. Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each. Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both belowthe waist and above the head. Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with productsup to 100 pounds. Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and withoutlimitation. Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors,hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing onconcrete for long hours and wet or uneven surfaces. Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours. Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours asrequired . #In-post
