$30/hr depending on experienceTraveling to multiple locations (nationally) Travel expectation upto 75 – 80% Capstone Logistics is currently seeking TravelMaintenance Technicians. This crucial role handles performingmaintenance activities that ensure smooth and efficient operationfor our partners in a material handling facility. The workenvironment is fast paced, requiring routine interaction with otheremployees. Ideal candidates must be available to work any of theshifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) in our 24/7 operation. A strongelectrical/mechanical background and the ability to pass anassessment are needed. Responsibilities and Duties
- Troubleshoot,adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical equipment, includingbatteries, control stations, fuses, motor starters, relays,switches, timers, servo-driven equipment, photoelectric devices,transducers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and encoders.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical componentssuch as motors, reducers, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves,pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace pneumatic equipment,including diverters, lubricators, hoses, and coils.
- Inspect,troubleshoot, repair, and replace hydraulic equipment, includinghoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps.
- Weld equipment such ashandrails, conveyor supports, package handling equipment, carts,and grating as defined by the scope of work.
- Perform preventivemaintenance inspections on plant equipment, including conveyors,bulk carts, and power industrial equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reassembling machines after the completion ofrepair or maintenance work
- Start machines and see mechanicaloperation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.
- Inspector test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advisesupervisors or repair needs.
- Lubricate or apply adhesives orother materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment,according to specified procedures.
- Install, replace, or changemachine parts and attachments, according to productionspecifications.
- Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair,using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
- Recordproduction, repair, and machine maintenance information.
- Readwork orders and specifications to decide machines and equipmentrequiring repair or maintenance.
- Set up and run machines andadjust controls to regulate operations.
- Collaborate with otherworkers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
- Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and othersupplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
- Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other materialbetween work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
- Collect and discard worn machine parts to maintain machinery andwork areas.
- Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaningsolvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Associate’s degree in maintenance orequivalent from two-year college or equivalent combination ofeducation and experience. Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Minimum2 years’ experience of related experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS ANDABILITIES
- Strong organization skills
- Excellent interpersonaland communication skills (written and verbal)
- Demonstratedattention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to solve mechanicalproblems.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Willingness to use a personal phone for work tasks, such asMicrosoft Teams, email, pictures, and video.
- Knowledge of handand power tools is needed.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to liftand carry up to 81 pounds.
- Ability to work in a warehouseenvironment (concrete floors, changing temperatures)
- Ability towear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including eye and faceprotection and/or respirator.
