Floor Technician Cllean Facility Services 400 R Timms Road NE, Calhoun, GA 30701 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floor types in commercial settings. This role requires a strong commitment to quality and an understanding of effective cleaning techniques, including carpet cleaning, buffing, and general floor care. Duties Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming. Execute carpet cleaning procedures using appropriate equipment and solutions. Buff and polish hard floor surfaces to maintain their shine and integrity. Conduct regular inspections of floors to identify areas needing attention or repair. Ensure compliance with environmental services standards while using cleaning chemicals. Collaborate with custodial staff to maintain overall cleanliness in commercial spaces. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Using a chemical process to strip and wax Vinyl Composite Tile. Qualifications Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred. Previous experience in stripping and waxing VCT and other Vinyl. Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and carpet cleaning. Familiarity with environmental services practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for extended periods.
