We’re seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support operations at our Cairo facility. This position is critical for maintaining plant machinery, utilities, and equipment across the production floor. You’ll bring hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical systems, along with a great focus on safety, reliability, and quality workmanship.

salary:

$16.5 – $21 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM – 4 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Perform general and preventive maintenance on production, process, and utility equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using schematics, prints, and diagrams. Plan and execute repairs, adjustments, and alignments to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including circuits, motors, transformers, and switchgear. Troubleshoot and rewire motors, including variable speed and forward/reverse configurations. Support facility upkeep, including plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and air compressor systems. Fabricate and assemble components or specialized parts for plant use. Maintain records of machine maintenance, inspections, and part usage. Provide support to other departments and assist with in-plant equipment relocations or upgrades. Inspect and maintain fire safety equipment and perform basic lift truck repairs. The essential functions of this role include:
