Facility Tech 3.6 3.6 out of 5 stars Lawrenceville, GA 30043 TRC Talent Solutions is currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to be part of Valentine Enterprises Facilities team in Lawrenceville, GA 30043 . Valentine is a major 3rd party producer of food supplements in the USA with 50 years of experience in the field. This is a short-term position to cover for a team’s member leave of absence. There could be a possibility to extend to long-term depending on performance and Company needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Preventive Maintenance:

conduct scheduled maintenance according to established procedures and guidelines.

General Maintenance:

perform on-demand maintenance tasks within the facility.

Facility Support:

collaborate with managers and supervisors to address facility issues, and assist with construction and installation projects for furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

Compliance:

adhere to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Additional Responsibilities:

operate forklifts, and work overtime, including weekends, as needed. Required Qualifications Education and Experience High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of building maintenance experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills and Competencies Strong troubleshooting and organizational skills. Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, painting, and carpentry tasks. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Certifications Valid Driver’s License. Forklift Certification (preferred). Building Maintenance Certification or Technical Diploma (preferred).

Physical and Environmental Requirements Physical Demands Frequently:

Walk, stand, bend, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Occasionally:

Operate motorized vehicles, climb ladders, and distinguish colors and smells.

Continuously:

Perform tasks requiring coordination, vision, and attention to detail.

Work Environment Frequently exposed to:

Dust, machinery, and working on ladders or scaffolding.

Occasionally exposed to:

Extreme temperatures, solvents, and slippery surfaces. Primarily works indoors in a manufacturing/maintenance setting.

Work Environment:

Our client’s products are in a protein powder form. Big amounts of this product will be found in specific production areas. Traces of this powder could be found in other general areas. Some of the elements contained within the protein powder contain allergen foods such as: peanuts, tree nuts, eggs, milk, soybeans, wheat, crustacean, fish, shellfish, etc.
