Maintenance Technician 3.8 3.8 out of 5 stars 1850 Graves Road, Norcross, GA 30093 Wesley Apartment Homes is seeking a skilled and reliable full time Maintenance Technician to join our beautiful Arbor Mill community located in Norcross! A well-rounded maintenance tech with apartment experience is a plus. We like to promote from within so that you can continue to grow as we do. Starting pay $18 – $21.50 per hour (D.O.E) and potential for monthly bonus plus HUGE apartment discount! Qualifications:

Minimum of 1-3 years of maintenance experience, preferably in multi-family Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) Possess proven knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance repairs, roofing repairs, and other general maintenance skills Possess strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills Detail-oriented and exhibits pride in quality of work Takes initiative and self-motivated to complete tasks at hand Must be available to work nights, holidays, and weekends, as scheduled for on-call service requests HVAC Certification (preferred) Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Fair Housing laws, OSHA, and EPA regulations Valid driver’s license is required. Position requires individuals to furnish their own reliable transportation to fulfill the job’s functions

Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspect grounds, buildings, and other features, manage clean and safe work area. Ensure the property is always well kept and maintained Schedule and perform routine preventive maintenance on all appropriate equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and the Property Manager Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repair, to include HVAC troubleshooting and pool maintenance, if applicable Customer Service oriented Attention to details, and a team player Ability to be on call on a rotational basis Ensure all maintenance work orders are completed correctly and in a timely manner Communicate effectively with tenants, manager, and maintenance supervisor Requires constant movement including considerable use of arms and legs, movement of the entire body such as climbing stairs and ladders, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and handling of materials. Considerable time is spent using hands to handle, operate, activate, inspect, place, detect control or feel objects, tools, or controls Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more.
