Maintenance Technician 3.5 3.5 out of 5 stars Buford, GA 30518 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and the ability to read schematics. The Maintenance Technician will also play a key role in supervising maintenance projects and leading efforts to maintain high standards of safety and efficiency. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment and facilities. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers. Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for testing electrical components. Fabricate parts as needed to ensure optimal operation of machinery. Perform residential painting and other aesthetic improvements within the facility. Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs effectively. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and ability to read schematics. Experience with logic controllers is preferred. Ability to fabricate components as necessary for repairs or improvements. Leadership skills with experience supervising teams or projects. Proficiency in residential painting techniques is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with others.
