General Purpose:
A facility Technician is responsible for ensuring that all facets of building maintenance are taken care of by performing preventative and facilities maintenance as well as meeting immediate maintenance needs. Access and resolve a wide array of maintenance issues on-site
- Electrical knowledge
- Lighting
- both interior and exterior
- Maintain all rack and guard railing
- Plumbing
- Welding
- Carpentry
- Pneumatic systems
Job Functions:
- Perform minor repairs, maintenance, and improvements
- Read, interpret, and implement work orders
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally, written and in email
- Safety minded in all work performed
- Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot, and understand resources to accomplish tasks
- Accurately track and store the departments inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment
- Ability to drive (PID) Powered Industrial Trucks. Including People mover and Forklifts
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks using tools and equipment
- Assist with Conveyor Maintenance
- Perform Battery Changes and preventative maintenance on batteries
- Perform other duties as assigned
