Maintenance Technician (Plastic Injection Molding) Thomson Plastics, Inc. 130 Quality Drive, Thomson, GA 30824
Overview:
Our facility in Thomson, Georgia is conveniently located to major interstate highways. We have over 200,000 square feet dedicated to manufacturing, assembly and warehousing, and our facility maintains 38 presses ranging from 220 tons to 3150 tons. Our 9 on-site silos, 15 shipping/receiving docks and rail spur enable us to safely and efficiently manage the resins we use for manufacturing our high quality products.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot, diagnose equipment failures, and identify root cause for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems Read and understand blueprints technical manuals and work instructions for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Disassemble, reassemble and test complex machinery and sub-assemblies Size and determine proper fits of keys, shafts, bearings, using precision tools as required Perform bench operations such as drilling, tapping, grinding, welding, fabricating, etc. Maintain a safe and orderly work environment Perform preventative maintenance procedures and techniques Install new machinery as required Repair plant and office machinery Relocate plant equipment Ensure equipment maintenance log is completed Perform facility repairs Plastic Injection Molding experience a plus Willing to work evening shifts

$25.00 – $34.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
