Maintenance Mechanic Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance on various types of equipment and machinery, including rolling stock, precast concrete machines, and stationary equipment. The role involves conducting buildings and grounds maintenance, assisting in plant safety improvements, adhering to and updating a preventative maintenance computer system, and addressing emergency or non-preventative maintenance tasks. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on rolling stock such as forklifts, loaders, mobile cranes, and automobiles. Conduct preventative maintenance on precast concrete machines. Carry out preventative maintenance on stationary equipment including pipe machines, batch plants, conveyors, and wire rollers. Maintain buildings and grounds. Assist in plant safety improvements. Adhere to and update the preventative maintenance computer system. Keep work areas clean and organized. Address emergency or non-preventative maintenance tasks. Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills Troubleshooting Maintenance technician experience Mechanical repair Reading and interpreting schematics Electrical troubleshooting PLC troubleshooting Experience with concrete machinery Hydraulics and pneumatics Preventative maintenance Using hand tools Heavy equipment maintenance Production support Construction knowledge General labor skills Maintenance repair Experience with 3-phase motors Additional Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or GED 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience Ability to troubleshoot electrically and mechanically Experience troubleshooting hydraulics and pneumatics Why Work Here?
