General Handyman/Maintenance Technician Property Maintenance and Repair Columbus, GA 31909 We are seeking a reliable, skilled Handyman/Maintenance Technician to join our property management and maintenance team. This role involves handling a wide range of maintenance tasks including landscaping, unit buildouts, general repairs, and tenant work orders. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in multiple trades, excellent problem-solving skills, and a team-oriented attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in residential units and common areas
• Complete tenant work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Assist with unit buildouts, renovations, and construction tasks
• Handle landscaping and exterior grounds maintenance
• Conduct basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and concrete work
• Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively
• Load and transport materials, tools, and equipment as needed
• Ensure properties meet safety and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with tenants, management, and team members

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in handyman, maintenance, or construction-related roles
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, landscaping, concrete, and basic carpentry
• Proficient in using tools, machinery, and equipment relevant to the job
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and find practical, efficient solutions
• Physically capable of performing manual labor, lifting, and working outdoors
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (preferably capable of towing trailers)
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus
• Reliable transportation to get to and from the job (preferably able to tow a trailer)
