This role ensures the optimal operation of machinery, troubleshooting issues, and managing preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate activities related to installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment. Oversee maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment in the plastic industry, including PLC’s, AC/DC drives, motors, pneumatic systems, conveyor systems, blenders, heaters, hydraulic systems, grinders. Ensure adherence to the plant operation manual for maintenance, inspections, repairs, and parts purchasing. Diagnose malfunctions and direct workers in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs. Order and maintain a supply of spare parts to ensure continuous operations. Implement and enforce safety regulations and company policies. Maintain production records and coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow. Provide hands-on support for troubleshooting equipment and repairs as needed, including after-hours emergency calls.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong troubleshooting skills with a sense of urgency to minimize equipment downtime. Ability to use and operate power and hand tools effectively. Experience working with PLC systems, AC/DC drives, and industrial machinery. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and spare parts inventory management. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
