General Maintenance Technician Paulding RSAT/Georgia Department of Corrections 1295 Industrial Boulevard North, Dallas, GA 30132 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of various areas around the facility, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and secure environment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, facilities maintenance and the ability to read schematics. Duties Perform routine maintenance tasks around facility, including electrical repairs and troubleshooting. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and monthly preventative maintenance. Supervise maintenance staff and coordinate activities to ensure timely completion of projects. Respond promptly to maintenance requests, providing exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Maintain accurate tool and inventory logs. Requirements Strong background in electrical systems and facilities maintenance. Familiarity with CMMS software is a plus. Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Previous experience in supervising maintenance personnel. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. At least 2 years of experience in building repairs and maintenance.
