A local leading organization is currently seeking MaintenanceTechnicians to work in their Hiram, Ohio location. The MaintenanceTechnician II ensures maximum operating efficiency, maintenance andrepair of machines and equipment in production and facility. •Applicants must be flexible to work any day, any shift however,this position is 2nd shift 5pm – 5am•

RESPONSIBILITIES

Respond to production requests for immediate attention toproduction line issues and problems. Maintain production equipment. Maintain records of preventative maintenance. Create requisitions of parts and supplies to maintainequipment. Identify problem areas and address with permanent solutions. All employees are expected to perform any assignment or job taskaccording to the stated safety policies and procedures. All employees are expected to produce and promote our products andservices in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectationof our customers and consumers by adhering to Good ManufacturingPractices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe QualityFood Program. Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

High School diploma or GED. Two years of maintenance experience or more. Fundamental understanding of manufacturing processes. Ability to make decisions based on standard practices. Experience and knowledge of production machinery and equipment. Ability to handle multiple tasks, troubleshoot and problemsolve. Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic andpneumatic systems. Ability to weld. (TIG, MIG and Stick). Ability to read and understand schematics, pneumatic, and hydraulicdrawings. Familiarity with OSHA regulations.

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Associate?s degree or equivalent from a two-year college ortechnical school. 2 years of food manufacturing experience and/or training ormore. Experience working with ammonia refrigeration systems / PSM. SAP experience Forklift Experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with averagetemperature of 65-100 degrees F Hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hardhats, and/or safety glasses may berequired. Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist,waist-to-shoulder, shoulder-to-overhead andpushing/pulling/carrying. Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequentlygrip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands. Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors or other motorizedvehicles in tight quarters.
