Air Duct Cleaning Technician Green Heating & Cooling Jasper, GA Overview:

An award-winning company that has been in business for over 50 years is currently seeking an experienced Air Duct Cleaning Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining air duct systems in residential settings. The role requires knowledge of HVAC systems, diligence, and a commitment to ensuring indoor air quality for our clients.

Air Duct Cleaning Technician:

• Conduct thorough inspections of HVAC systems and air ducts to identify areas that require cleaning or maintenance. Evaluate the condition of ductwork and components, such as filters, grilles, and vents.
• Perform comprehensive cleaning of air ducts using industry-standard equipment and techniques. Remove dust, debris, mold, and other contaminants from ductwork to improve indoor air quality. Clean and sanitize vents, grilles, and other system components.
• Operate and maintain specialized tools and equipment used in air duct cleaning, such as vacuum systems, brushes, and blowers. Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and report any malfunctions promptly.
• Document the condition of air ducts before and after cleaning, noting any issues or recommendations for further maintenance. Provide detailed reports to clients, outlining the cleaning process and any identified problems.
• Communicate effectively with clients, explaining the importance of air duct cleaning and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance to improve system efficiency.
• Adhere to industry standards, guidelines, and regulations related to air duct cleaning. Stay informed about advancements in HVAC technology and air quality standards.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for both the technician and the client.

Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during cleaning procedures.

Qualifications:

• Experience in air duct cleaning.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Familiarity with air quality standards and regulations.
• Ability to use and maintain air duct cleaning equipment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Education and Certifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in air duct cleaning or HVAC maintenance is a plus.
