The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and maintaining electromechanical systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position requires a candidate who is proficient in the electrical field and has a solid understanding of maintenance activities and preventive maintenance (PMs). While electrical expertise is critical, we are also looking for someone who is comfortable with mechanical tasks, including pumps, pipe fittings, and other mechanical systems.

Day Rotating Shift:

6:30 AM – 4:30

PM On-Call:

1 week every 4 weeks Key Responsibilities Ensure all operations are conducted safely, following HSE (Health, Safety, and Environmental) regulations. Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on equipment across all plant operations, including power systems and machinery. Replace fuses, breakers, and other electrical safety devices. Install and maintain conduit and wiring in accordance with NEC codes. Replace motor starters and maintain MCC (Motor Control Center) components. Troubleshoot and repair electrical control power, 3-phase systems, and analog devices. Assist with calibration and maintenance of instrumentation systems. Actively contribute to HSE, quality, and productivity initiatives to improve overall operations. Participate in Safety Team activities, including safety audits, hazard identification, and safety program enhancements. Promote a safety-first culture, emphasizing adherence to HSE Essentials and safe work practices.

Qualifications Education:

High School Diploma or GED required. Electromechanical Technical School Degree or equivalent experience.

Experience:

3 to 5 years of industrial electromechanical experience in a manufacturing environment Hands-on experience with mechanical repairs, electrical troubleshooting, and equipment maintenance Experience operating forklifts and scissor lifts (certification preferred) Knowledge of plant safety systems, including Confined Space Entry, Hot Work Permitting, and Lockout/Tagout procedures

Requirements:
Electrical Systems:

Strong background in 120-volt / 208-volt / 240-volt single-phase systems Experience with 480-volt 3-phase systems (Star and Delta systems) Proficient with 480-volt Motor Control Center buckets (MCC) or motor starters Familiarity with single-phase and 3-phase induction motors Extremely proficient with a volt meter Knowledgeable with AC/DC systems Familiar with

NEC/NFPA 70E

codes Understanding of P&IDs and blueprints Familiarity with all types of control circuits Basic understanding of instrumentation loops and electrical calculations

Mechanical Skills:

Ability to perform basic mechanical work, including pumps, piping, and pipe fittings Proficient in electromechanical equipment troubleshooting and repairs across electrical and mechanical systems

General Skills:

Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams Comfortable using basic computer systems for maintenance tasks and documentation Experience with basic welding and mechanical tool usage Physical Demands Ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat throughout the workday. Must be able to lift objects weighing between 25-50 pounds. Ability to work in a moderate to loud work environment, with the ability to distinguish machinery alarms or sounds.
