MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN – 2ND SHIFT
Responsibilities Ensures that the layout, prototypes, and machinery in facilities run to their maximum efficiency and output. This includes total preventative maintenance, software programming and managing breakdowns of mechanical, electrical, and robotic equipment Installs, maintains, improves, and repairs equipment, plant, services, and building installations Sets standards effectively and in compliance with best practices to ensure production goals are met Responds to technical issues affecting production and maintains electrical and mechanical services through Planned Preventative Maintenance Drives multiple complex projects that require innovative solutions with a focus on results Responds to breakdowns and identifies the root problem in order to provide a solution with minimal downtime to production Proactively identifies and escalates any activity that has the potential to cause harm or damage to production and then reports breakdown root causes, equipment faults, and concerns to management Perform Lockout/Tagout and all other safety procedures Possess knowledge of basic mechanics Possess understanding of operation of production equipment Basic fabrication skills Qualifications 3-5 years of electrical/mechanical experience Certificate from certified vocational school
