Sl White Boulevard, LaGrange, GA 30241 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of our facilities through proactive maintenance and repairs. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, facilities maintenance, and the ability to lead and supervise maintenance activities. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with other team members to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Duties Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify potential issues. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning equipment using tools such as an ohmmeter. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise and train junior maintenance staff, providing leadership and guidance as needed. Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption during maintenance activities. Weld components as necessary to ensure structural integrity of equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, logic controllers, and troubleshooting techniques. Proficiency in using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team effectively. Ability to communicate fluently in English, both written and verbal. Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
