Maintenance Technician SpotlightStaff.com LaFayette, GA 30728 Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and improvements to ensure the upkeep of our facilities. The successful applicant will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance and be familiar with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). This is a rewarding opportunity for a hands-on professional who can work independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of older manufacturing machinery and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and small engine issues Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, pulleys, and other machine components Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and installations as needed Maintain tools, parts, and maintenance records in an organized and efficient manner Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed at all times Communicate equipment issues clearly to management and production staff Requirements Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of older manufacturing machinery and equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and small engine issues Maintain and repair motors, gearboxes, belts, chains, pulleys, and other machine components Perform preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime Assist with equipment upgrades, modifications, and installations as needed Maintain tools, parts, and maintenance records in an organized and efficient manner Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed at all times Communicate equipment issues clearly to management and production staff
