Job Description
Maintenance Technician 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars 110 Park City Rd, Rossville, GA 30741 Parkside Nursing Home is currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, cleaning, and repairing equipment. Troubleshoot and diagnose facility issues and make necessary repairs. Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment. Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner and prioritize tasks based on urgency. Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track work orders, document repairs, and maintain accurate records. Collaborate with other team members to coordinate maintenance activities and ensure efficient operations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance concerns and resolving issues promptly. Supervise and oversee contractors or external service providers when necessary.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in Nursing homes or any medical facilities maintenance. Maintenance or construction background. A skilled trade is preferred Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose maintenance issues. Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with team members. Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks. Basic computer skills. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
