Maintenance Technician Georgia Mountain Rentals 98 Nacoochee Way, Sautee Nacoochee, GA 30571 Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems, including electrical components and machinery. Fabricate parts as needed to support maintenance activities. Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance schedules. Conduct inspections and troubleshoot issues with logic controllers and other automated systems. Use tools such as Ohmmeters for electrical testing and diagnostics. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with team members to develop preventive maintenance plans and improve facility operations. Provide leadership in training junior staff on maintenance procedures and best practices. Requirements Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field. Strong electrical skills, including the ability to read schematics and perform troubleshooting. Experience with welding and fabrication techniques is preferred. Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team. Familiarity with logic controllers and their application in industrial settings. Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment safely. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
