Our Maintenance Technicians are key to keeping our operations running smoothly by ensuring that all equipment—including forklifts, production machinery, and boilers—is maintained to the highest standards. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician with hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining forklifts, industrial machinery, and boiler systems. This role is ideal for a mechanically inclined, safety-conscious individual who can troubleshoot a wide range of equipment and perform both preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. Key Responsibilities Forklift Maintenance & Repair Diagnose and repair issues on propane forklifts Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with OSHA standards Replace hydraulic components, batteries, tires, and other forklift parts Maintain detailed records of forklift maintenance and service Machinery & Equipment Maintenance Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on production machinery Support in the installation and setup of new equipment Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues Maintain spare parts inventory and contribute to continuous improvement efforts Boiler Operations & Maintenance Monitor boiler systems and ensure proper functioning Perform routine inspections and maintenance on boilers Diagnose and repair issues related to steam, pressure, and water systems Maintain logs and follow all safety and environmental regulations General Maintenance Duties Maintain facility utilities and infrastructure Ensure tools and equipment are in safe working condition Assist in maintaining dust collection systems and HVAC as needed Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Qualifications Required 2+ years of experience in maintenance with a focus on forklifts, machinery, and/or boilers Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems Ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and equipment blueprints Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 75 lbs Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies Preferred Boiler operator certification or relevant training Forklift mechanic certification or prior dealer experience Welding and fabrication experience Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing practices Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, climb, bend, and lift Use of PPE (gloves, goggles, ear protection, etc.) is mandatory Ability to work in hot, cold, or noisy environments as needed
