Position Summary:
As a Make Ready Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring vacant apartments are cleaned, repaired, and ready for move-in. This role requires a strong work ethic, general maintenance skills, and the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect recently vacated units and determine the scope of work required.
- Perform basic repairs including patching drywall, painting, replacing flooring, fixing plumbing fixtures, and general carpentry.
- Replace and install appliances, light fixtures, and hardware as needed.
- Ensure all systems (AC, plumbing, electrical) are in proper working order.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Report any major repairs or issues to the maintenance supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in apartment maintenance, construction, or general handyman work preferred.
