Job Description
Industrial Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking skilled Maintenance Associates for two contractor positions. The ideal candidates will have either a mechanically-focused millwright or an electrical-based PLC technical knowledge. Both roles require a strong technical knowledge and the ability to work in a team-oriented, multi-craft environment. Responsibilities Perform maintenance on pumps, sprockets, chains, conveyor rollers, and other mechanical components. Work as part of a team to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Conduct preventive maintenance and manage work orders using SAP. Utilize power tools and equipment to perform maintenance tasks. For electrical-focused roles, troubleshoot and maintain 480-volt equipment and other industrial electrical systems. Essential Skills Mechanical and electrical repair and troubleshooting experience. Experience with industrial maintenance, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in using power tools and performing preventive maintenance. Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and SAP for managing work orders. Strong understanding of facilities maintenance and millwright tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working in a similar industrial environment. Technical aptitude and ability to answer technical questions during the interview. Work Environment This position is located in a clean, air-conditioned facility with one production line. All work is performed indoors in a top-of-the-line facility. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with rotating night shifts every 30 days for mechanically-focused roles, and day shifts for electrical-focused roles. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shreveport, Louisiana.s Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.38 – $29.38/hr.
