This role frequently requires long hours and out-of-town travel. This position demands a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in construction, thorough hands-on experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. The duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows, but not limited to: Install various types of windows and doors according to manufacturer specifications and company standards Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and installation instructions Measure and cut materials to fit designated spaces accurately Remove old windows, doors, and hardware with care and attention to property Seal and insulate fittings using appropriate materials Ensure all installations are watertight, level, plumb, and square Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite Communicate professionally with customers, team members, and supervisors Must be able to stay overnight frequently for out-of-town jobs Report project updates, issues, and completion statuses to the project manager Follow all safety procedures and regulations The successful candidate will possess the following attributes: 2+ years of experience in window and/or door installation preferred Strong carpentry skills and understanding of construction techniques Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Willing to stay overnight frequently for out-of-town jobs Ability to lift up to, but not limited to, 75 lbs and work on ladders or scaffolding Excellent problem-solving and attention-to-detail skills Strong work ethic, reliability, and customer service skills
