Facilities Maintenance

Regular Full-time, Non Exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES/TASKS

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical repairs, and HVAC upkeep. Inspect buildings, structures, and systems for functionality and safety; report issues to management. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Maintain clean and organized maintenance tools, equipment, and work areas. Assist in the setup and teardown for events or facility changes (e.g., moving furniture, installing equipment). Monitor and maintain building systems including fire alarms, elevators, and security systems. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, building codes, and company policies. Maintain records of work completed, supplies used, and equipment serviced. Collaborate with outside contractors and vendors as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in building maintenance a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in general building maintenance or a related field. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC systems. Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and safety protocols. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.
