In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our property by performing various maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical and mechanical systems, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a safe and functional environment for all.

Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs:

Conduct routine inspections and identify maintenance needs. Perform general repairs, including carpentry, painting, minor plumbing, and electrical work. Perform unit make-readies to prepare them for occupancy. Coordinate with Maintenance Supervisor on daily tasks and updates.

Tenant Service :

Address tenant requests for maintenance and repairs promptly and courteously. Ensure tenant satisfaction with maintenance services provided.

Preventive Maintenance :

Execute preventive maintenance schedules to prolong equipment life and prevent malfunctions. Maintain inventory of parts and supplies as needed.

Building Systems :

Assist with maintaining and repairing HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems. Ensure systems operate efficiently and comply with regulations.

Safety & Compliance:

Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all safety regulations and building codes.

Communication & Documentation :

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and work orders. Communicate with property managers and other team members effectively.

Emergency Response :

Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies. This is a fairly rare occurrence, but on occasion we do have hi priority maintenance issues. Respond to emergency maintenance requests promptly and effectively. Experience Proven experience in facilities maintenance, demonstrating strong electrical and mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with schematics and the ability to read technical diagrams is essential. Proficiency in using tools such as an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment. Previous experience in residential painting is a plus. Welding experience is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong communication skills in English are required for effective collaboration with team members.
