The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property maintenance, with expertise in various areas, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliance repair. This position requires a proactive individual with excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills, who can work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Diagnose and perform routine maintenance/repair throughout the property, including electrical, plumbing, appliances, drywall/sheetrock, A/C, and heating systems. (This list is not exhaustive.)
- Report all major repairs and requisitions to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Complete assigned service requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform duties in a professional manner.
Qualifications:
- Position requires experience in property maintenance or an equivalent field.
- Working knowledge of tools and equipment needed for property management.
- 3 years of experience repairing and maintaining A/C equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- 3 years of appliance repair experience.
- Ability to work well as a team member or independently with minimal supervision.
- Good decision-making skills.
- Good communication skills.
